The AFKA will be taking a new approach to our annual caregiver conference. Instead of hosting a two-day conference in a single location, they will be holding six regional one-day micro conferences across the province, running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each event will include five training streams:

• Foster Care – Entry Level
• Foster Care – Advanced Practice
• Kinship Care
• Ministry-Focused Sessions
• Indigenous Stream

Calgary’s Conference will be held at the Deerfoot Inn.  Details to follow in the months to come. For now, mark your calendars and we will hope to see you all there!
