Warmth in Every Stitch: A Heartfelt Gift from the Relief Society

What began as a simple idea from one inspired woman quickly blossomed into a beautiful act of service and unity. Michelle McGinn, Irene Gilchrist, Diane O’Bray, and Eleanor Maller (with Tina Hornberger, Natasha Eden, and Brenda Pierson also contributing behind the scenes) — all dedicated members of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — came together with a shared mission: to bring comfort and warmth to those in need.

Through countless hours of love and craftsmanship, this remarkable group created and donated 46 hand-knitted and crocheted blankets, each one a testament to their compassion and community spirit.

Though not everyone could be present for the photo, each stitch tells a story of collaboration, care, and the powerful impact of women working together for a greater good.

The CRFKA is grateful for all it’s community partners and those who show love and support of children in care!
