The mission of the Calgary Region Foster and Kinship Association (CRFKA) is to provide meaningful support, membership and community to Foster and Kinship families and to advocate for the betterment of children in care.
The CRFKA would like to congratulate all those who received recognition at our Annual Recognition Evening. In addition to those honored for their outstanding work, we thank and honor all caregivers and practitioners who have supported children and youth this year.
An incredible value at just $25 annually. Membership gives you access to an amazing support network as well as opportunities to great activities, events, and much more.
Members have access to amazing venues and events such as tubing at Mt. Norquay, laser tag, Heritage Park passes and so much more. Many opportunities are free of charge or just $20 per family!
The CRFKA has many resources available to caregiving families. Information on advocacy for children, connections for teenagers, child protection, indigenous and Metis services and much more.
We know this journey can be exciting, rewarding, exhausting and trying. Mentoring provides readily available peer support, through confidential, trusting discussions and the sharing of ideas to ensure the best outcome for the children in your care.
The CRFKA is so grateful for our community partners and event sponsors. We thank you for your ongoing support.
Interested in partnering with us? Please contact us, we’d love to hear from you!
